Learners Today. Leaders Tomorrow.

Our vision is – and always will be – about the students. Our students emerge as leaders, prepared to thrive in, and bring hope to, a rapidly changing world. Meaningful learning takes place here, and our educators and staff live their faith.

We achieve excellence without elitism, giving every child the opportunity to come to know and love God deeply through their education.

We’re a K-8 School with a Growth Mindset, Doing Big Things.

We harness the “power of small” to accomplish significant results. Our highly qualified teachers are responsive and empowered to create a safe and engaging learning environment. We offer individual attention in small class sizes, where students discover their unique gifts and develop their character.

In our beautiful and peaceful wooded setting, our students are taught as the unique individuals God created them to be. We instill a sense of wonder and help them realize their purpose. Our school community is like a family. We partner with, and support parents, providing each student with a “home away from home.”

We believe students deserve more than strictly academics.

Believe

Biblical Values. We teach our students how to live out biblical principles at school, home, and in the world.

Learn

Academics.  PHCA students consistently test above their public school peers. We fervently pursue a student-teacher ratio of 15:1.

Lead

Leadership.  Our students are taught the importance of their character, morality, and integrity.

Serve

Service.  Students engage in service projects throughout the year and are instilled with the value of serving others.

This complementary visit is designed to help us understand your family’s needs and give you a true understanding of what it means to receive a Pine Harbor Christian Academy education.

During the consultation, we will focus on the goals and aspirations you have for your child. Whenever possible, we encourage both parents to attend.  You will be able to ask any questions you may have and can take a tour of our school.

No matter where you decide to enroll, we hope to help you gather the information and wisdom you need to find the right educational choice for your child.

How our Families Feel

Curious what our current families are saying? Check out several testimonies below or visit our Facebook page to see more.
“In this world where character, morals, ethics and tolerable behaviors seem to continually decline at such a rapid pace, we are so incredibly thankful for the emphasis that PHCA puts on building character. When our children are out in the community, we are continually told how well-behaved, how well-mannered, and what tender, caring hearts our children have. We are so thankful PHCA is here for us!” Millner Family

“Unsolicited from my 1st grader who started in October: ‘I was scared when I first started going because I didn’t know about God. Then I learned about God and I wasn’t scared because I learned He’s watching me.’” Tommy Braucks

“As a public school teacher for 7 years, I never imagined my children going to a private school. PHCA has smaller class sizes to allow for more individual and small group teaching. Beginning each day in prayer and learning God’s word was amazing to witness. I would recommend taking a tour on any Walk In Wednesday and seeing it for yourself!” Melissa Shleppenbach

“We moved to Hastings about three years ago and started looking for schools for our children. I fell in love with PHCA the first time we visited. The teachers really get to know each student, and challenge them individually. Pine Harbor is an amazing school and we would recommend it to everyone!”
