Mrs. Kristolyn Johnson
4th & 5th Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Kristolyn Johnson; I am thrilled to be a full time teacher at Pine Harbor Christian Academy. I graduated from North Central University with a degree in Elementary Education, a math concentration, and a Bible minor. I previously taught Middle and High School classes in a Christian School. I’m honored to be able help students reach their fullest potential in Language Arts, History, and Bible.
I grew up in southern Wisconsin with three other siblings. My older brother and his wife live in Georgia and run a chiropractic office. My younger sister is a nurse and works at HCMC in Minneapolis in the ICU. My younger brother is a Marine and is stationed in California, and my parents became full time missionaries in Papua New Guinea while I was in college. I am married to an amazing man who grew up in Minnesota and is a Financial Analyst for US Bank. We have two young children – our son, Silas, and our daughter, Myra. As a family we enjoy the outdoors, games, and adventures.
I’m passionate about teaching and value being able to teach from a biblical worldview. I had the privilege of receiving Christian education from 2nd grade through college. Being educated by Christians and a Christ centered curriculum cultivated who I am today. I have a desire to encourage your student to grow not only academically but also in their faith. My prayer is to see them learn how to reach their fullest potential academically, and realize that their potential comes from Christ, who desires more than they could ever ask or imagine.
