COVID-19 Planning

Safety is Our First Priority

Plans for the 2020-2021 School Year

As successful as our distance learning program was this spring, it affirmed that God created us for community and relationships in order to become all we are created to be. In order to fully develop intellectually, socially, emotionally and spiritually we believe we must step out in faith based on wise counsel and take wise, calculated risks while trusting God to lead us through such a time as this.

The 2020-2021 theme verse at Pine Harbor is Esther 4:14 “And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” We believe we are in our position for such a time as this. We are excited to be partnering with each family in the Pine Harbor community as we work together to help develop the Christian Chartater the world needs in our students.

In order to develop our plan to safely reopen our school, the leadership team considered multiple scenarios after being engaged in research, consultation, and discussion with health experts, mental health experts and multiple Christian schools across the country. Pine Harbor’s goal is to raise up future leaders to be prepared to be in the world and not of it. We feel our goal can best be fulfilled through having our students in person at Pine Harbor. We know we cannot eliminate all risk, and with the mitigation strategies we are implementing we believe that we can reopen the PHCA campus while keeping students safe.
